About the Clinical Supervisor
I am a dedicated and caring multilingual AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate and AAMFT Clinical Fellow in the States of Georgia and New York with over 14 years of clinical experience, specializing in trauma therapy, grief and loss and family therapy theories.
AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidates are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who have completed the formal clinical supervision intensive AAMFT training and are working under the mentorship of an approved AAMFT supervisor to meet experimental and supervisory training requirements to supervise marriage and family therapists.
My approach to clinical supervision is holistic, integrative and systemic. My goal as a clinical supervisor is to develop a strong relationship and working alliance based on trust and mutual admiration and build on the supervisee’s strengths to support them on the development of their best selves as therapists and therefore enhancing their clinical, ethical and cultural skills and competencies to continually expand their self-confidence and motivation towards ongoing self-development and growth.
As a supervisor it is my mission to form the next generation of MFT therapists and supervisors. As your supervisor it is my commitment to be an authentic and supportive leader that will imprint the legacy of our MFT ancestors, will seek to offer lasting guidance and validation and will empower you to connect with your internal greatness and your own life mission and legacy to provide the best level of care, becoming the therapist you are meant to be.
